Diddy Tops 'Forbes' List of Richest Rappers

Sean "Diddy" Combs is officially at the top of the hip-hop food chain. In Forbes magazine's new list of the wealthiest hip-hop artists, Diddy sits at the top with a whopping $475 million net worth.

Forbes reports that Diddy is diversified with money coming in from Bad Boy records, Sean John clothing and his part ownership stake in Ciroc vodka. Meanwhile Jay-Z comes in a relatively close second with $450 million. When he boasted, "I'm like really half a billie," he wasn't lying. Jay-Z sold his stake in Rocawear clothing in 2007 for $204 million and in 2008 he signed a 10-year $150 million deal with Live Nation. He also has a stake in the New Jersey Nets basketball team and in a the 40/40 line of nightclubs.

Rounding out the list are Dr. Dre at $125 million, and Birdman and 50 Cent both at $100 million. 50 Cent pulled in nine figures when he sold his stake in Vitaminwater in 2007.
